The Ravi Zacharias International Ministries (RZIM), has announced that the Christian evangelist and apologist’s memorial service will be held and livestreamed on YouTube and Facebook on Friday, May 29, by 11 am Eastern time.
Ravi Zacharias died on May 19, after battling with a rare form of cancer. He had spent the past 48 years of his life travelling round the world preaching for the course of Christ with his eloquence and responding to life’s questions in the mind of many while defending the Christian faith.
He founded the Ravi Zacharias International Ministries (RZIM), in 1984, a Christian organisation that has raised a global team of almost 100 Christian Scholars and authors “who continue to speak, resource, train, and address the questions of millions around the world.”
In 2017, he launched the apologetic training centre. He also held a weekly radio program “Let My People Think” that reportedly was carried by an estimated 2,000 outlets in over 30 countries
According to RZIM, the memorial will feature a musical performance by music artists, Matt Redman and Lecrae, as well as tributes from family and friends such as Brooklyn Tabernacle Senior pastor Jim Cymbala and RZIM President Michael Ramsden.
