Founder and President of Mount Zion Films Ministry, Mike Bamiloye, has called out those who attacked Pastor Adeboye of the Redeemed Christian Church of God, over his wife’s birthday message.
You may recall that Adeboye, while celebrating his wife who turned 72, had shared some lessons young ladies could emulate in his wife.
The Redeemed pastor advised young women to be submissive to their husbands, while he also condemned men who attempt to enforce dominion on their wives.
He however faced criticisms from some young Nigerians who accused him of exerting masculinity and being oppressive.
Bamiloye, in an Instagram post he titled “THE RECKLESS YOUTHS OF THE BETHEL CITY,” condemned the action, while he alluded to the scriptural reference where Elisha cursed the young men who mocked him.
“We have some great youths in this Nation, who are very exceptional leaders of tomorrow, who would fulfill God’s mandate for their Generation, but I cry for many Youths of this Genertion who lack respect for great elders and intercessors of the nation,” he said.
The Gospel film veteran also expressed concern that the young Nigerians who are not yet married, and are still searching for life partners could insult a man who had been married for fifty two years.
“A man whom God has favoured massively, with branches of his church in more than 190 nations of the world, yet finding time to celebrate in the public, his wife of 52 years, yet some youths we are trusting the Lord for future partners and still searching here and there for their future are angry at the Man whose prayers they need,” he wrote.
Mike Bamiloye also wondered why the critics should be angry with the submissiveness of the Redeemed pastor’s wife.
“You are angry at the woman whose all children are successful and flourishing? You need her prayers!” He said.
